The trip down Ventura Highway had to end at some point. Gerry Beckley, one of two remaining living members of the folk rock band America, is finally hanging up his guitar after 53 years on the road. Join him as he reminisces about his musical legacy and longtime friendship with bandmate Dewey Bunnell.Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell—founding members of the band America—have spent over five decades touring together, playing nearly 100 shows annually since their iconic hit A Horse With No Name skyrocketed them to fame fresh out of high school. During their 53rd straight year on the road, the duo makes the decision to step back from touring together. Without any public announcement, they plan to reveal their decision on stage at the final concert of their tour.
