In the Shadow of Eden

In the Shadow of Eden tells of growing up in rural Australia trying to survive an abusive father. After runing away, the narrator is incarcerated in a Magdalene Laundry. Upon her release she leaves Autralia, returning to confront her father on his deathbed.
