INVINCIBLE LOVERS

Vassilis, a 12-year-old boy who has run away from his orphanage, takes a train to Tripolis in seach of his grandmother. Wandering the mountainous region of Arcadia, he encounters an aimless young woman who is having car trouble. After he fixes the car, the two become traveling companions, with the boy's vague memory of his grandmother's house as their eventual destination. They spend their summer on the road, and in time go their separate ways. Through the experiences of this unlikely pair of wandering loners, director Stavros Tsiolis captures a unique love story with none of the clich?d characters or situations. INVINCIBLE LOVERS, the winner of numerous international film awards, is a poetic and tender film.
