L’Arbre Sous La Mer

Mathieu, a French geologist, goes to a Greek island to study a petrified tree. There he meets the bewitching Eleni, a wild girl who seems to have been born in the sea. The deeper Mathieu falls in love with Eleni, the farther she draws away from him. Soon he discovers the girl's secret grotto where she and a dolphin abandon themselves to fascinating love rituals. From then on, Mathieu views the dolphin as his rival. He must choose finally between reality and the reality of a myth.
