Film Overview
Based on the James Hilton novel, Ronald Colman plays a young diplomat who, along with a group of other passengers, survives a plane crash and stumbles across an idyllic Utopian community hidden away in the Himalayas in Tibet. The opening sequence has been regarded as one of the most beautifully photographed in cinema history.
