Love for Share

Love has its price in modern-day Jakarta, but it requires a lot of sharing if you are a woman. In three distinct stories that bleed into each other, three different women find various solutions to their dilemmas of sharing a husband with other wives. Salma, a well-to-do doctor married to a politician, becomes a saintly Muslim wife when she learns of her husband's other wives, children, and households. Young, beautiful Siti finds love of a different sort when she comes to Jakarta and marries a man with two other wives in a two-bedroom slum with a never-ending stream of children and laundry. And Ming, a waitress with an acting career in mind, becomes the secret, second wife to her boss. Their lives intersect in the briefest ways, but they all balance their needs, loyalties, and passions with humor and heartache.
