LOVE SONGS

The words and music of LOVE SONGS play an integral role in the romantic film's plot, which is about choices in today's world that must be made among live, career, family and friendship. Margaux (Catherine Deneuve) is a successful talent agent in Paris whose professional obligations and responsibilities of a wife and mother are difficult to balance. She meets Jeremy (Christopher Lambert, “Greystroke,” “Subway”), a younger man, whose struggling pop singing duo is promoted by her agency. They become lovers after Margaux's American husband, Peter (Nick Mancuso) goes to N.Y. to overcome writer's block. Hiding their affair from Margaux's children, Jeremy always leaves at dawn – until the flu confines him to bed. And then Peter returns from America . . .
