Bertie, a talented singer from New Orleans, is dissatisfied with her new life in the South of France. Having moved with her husband Fred to tour with their jazz band, Bertie’s drive to perform dwindles as she feels increasingly isolated. In an attempt to ignite that missing spark, Fred secretly invites Lane—Bertie’s ex-girlfriend—to their vineyard villa. At one point in their lives, Fred loved Bertie, Lane loved Bertie, and living together in harmony seemed easy. But two years after the dust has settled, simply picking up where they left off isn’t an option.
