MAKING GRACE

From planning for and making Grace to raising her, this intimate documentary follows life partners Ann Krsul and Leslie Sullivan as they move from baby talk to searching for a sperm donor. Ann carries the baby, but will return to her architectural work after the birth, while Leslie plans to be a stay-at-home mom. Ann is a worrier and Leslie is more even-keeled; together they weather the storms of baby showers, Lamaze classes, baby announcements and more. Between events they argue with relatives over how to explain two mommies to their nieces and nephews. Gund?s camera creates a virtual video-diary of the couple?s often bumpy road to parenthood, and into the first wondrous year of their child, a redhead named Grace.
