MAMA, THERE’S A MAN IN YOUR BED

Coline Serreau, director of the hit comedy THREE MEN AND A CRADLE, has created another breezy farce in this modern fairy tale about an unlikely love affair. Daniel Auteuil, who starred in JEAN DE FLORETTE and MANON OF THE SPRING, is Romauld, a yuppie business executive whose career is in trouble. Framed by his partners, he hides out from the police at the tiny apartment of Juliette, his office's black cleaning lady (Firmine Richard in a sparkling debut). A warm, independent and savvy woman with five children by different lovers, Juliette comes up with the evidence to restore Romauld's position in his corporate and private lives, all the while exposing the absurdity of corporate structures and ambitious ladder-climbing. In the proeess, Romauld discovers new values within a world of opposites – racial, social and economic.
