Man Facing Southeast

A hypnotically absorbing drama, MAN FACING SOUTHEAST explores the nature of madness vs. rationality vs. faith and society's attempt to distinguish among them. Mystery surrounds Rantes, a charismatic mental patient who claims he is an extraterrestrial sent to Earth on a special mission. Gazing to the southeast in a trance, he soon attracts disciples among the other paitents. His skeptical doctor wavers between reason and his increasing desire to believe in his strange patient, who has no traceable past. Sane or not, Rantes exhibits unusual powers and one day he is joined by a woman as mysterious as he–now the doctor has another enigma to solve as he finds himself drawn closer and closer to the attractive new visitor–from where?
