SCREENING EXCLUSIVE TO FILMSLAM (GRADES 5-12 ONLY)Marisol, a 20-year-old girl from El Salvador, had not thought about the recent death of her mother since arriving in Barcelona. She had buried the last connection she had with her family along with her childhood. Once in Spain, she will begin working for Mireia, taking care of her daughter, Alba. At first, it won't be easy: Marisol will have to earn the trust of a girl who only wants to be with her mother while stumbling upon situations that will uncover what she desires and inevitably make her think about her mother. To avoid dealing with her grief, Marisol will build an internal wall and distance herself from the new maternal love and help offered by Mireia, preferring solitude and hiding the truth. Finally, in a moment of anguish, Marisol will turn to Mireia's arms, accepting that she is still a girl who doesn't want to be alone and that she needs to be cared for.
