Film Overview
This disarming, downright neighborly catwalk on the wild side of Mondo New York sounds like a bad sitcom, but isn't. Vicky is a slum-dwelling immigrant waitress, unsure of her future and her sexuality, who fails one show-business audition after another. When her doting papa visits from Germany, she tries to convince him that she's a successful stage actress, with a gay-leather boy roommate posing as her happy husband. Fortunately, East Village transsexuals and body-piercers (the fainthearted are forewarned) minister to uptight father and nervous daughter alike. Friend of the Cleveland Vice Squad, cheery porn performance artist Annie Sprikle portrays herself.
