About This Film
Film Overview
You’re late for work. In addition to your boss being upset, something is wrong… the police are standing at the cubicle next to yours. You hear them mention something about a murder. Your coworker leans in and whispers, “You know the hammer murderer in the news? Apparently, it was him.” And then he nods to the cubicle next to you. This is the beginning of the end of your life. Because the hammer murderer is out there and he is coming for you and all of your coworkers. Oh and one more thing, he’s getting more “creative” as he kills. Screenwriter-turned-newcomer-director Hong Won-Chan's explosive debut thriller is a twisting nightmare of interoffice conflict and workday minutiae gone horribly awry. Thanks to a careful directorial hand, clever editing, and an admirable reverence for preceding horror flicks, OFFICE pops off the screen with an impressive flourish of fresh talent. You’ll want to avoid the water cooler after this one. (In Korean with subtitles) –C.P.
