On a String

A young violist and recent Juilliard graduate tries to make a living playing gigs that draw her into the personal lives of strangers, while still living at home with her parents in the heart of NYC. She usually performs with her string quartet, who are all far too accustomed to being flies on the wall at private parties, weddings, funerals, and whatever else pays money. But when her toxic ex-boyfriend reappears, who also happens to be the Philharmonic’s "newest, hottest cellist," he informs her of a viola opening in the prestigious orchestra. She decides to audition, but her preparation gets quickly sidetracked by a rapidly extinguishing fire of ambition and an inappropriate relationship.
