About This Film
Film Overview
Passover is an occasion for families to reunite under one roof, if only temporarily, to remember the exodus from Egypt, to celebrate, and to entertain the children. In PASSOVER FEVER, a warm and wry look at a large, contentious Israeli family reuniting for Passover, Yona and Michael have invited their children and grandchildren home to share the holidays with them. Mother secretly suspects her husband of infidelity, a divorce-struck son plans payback, one grandchild has stopped speaking, and there are a few others everyone wishes would stop speaking. And haunting the gathering is the melancholy presence of the youngest son, killed in an army training accident. A winner at film festivals worldwide, Shemi Zarhin?s feature debut is a richly bittersweet feast of tears, love and laughter.
