In 1956, as Soviet tanks roll in to crush the Hungarian Uprising, young Bela Bognar's father says “I would rather see you buried right here than go out of the country!” … In 1986 Bognar, a middle-aged college professor iwith a job and family in Ohio, remains obsessed with rebellion and people he left behind.
