Activist Francine Coeytaux and a network of pro-choice organizers and advocates are the subject of this necessary doc about the titular organization that has worked in secret providing and expanding access to abortion pills in the days leading up to and beyond the Supreme Court’s repeal of Roe v. Wade. —M.G.

It’s a new era for abortion rights, and a group of brave women are risking everything to keep access open. Led by the fearless Francine Coeytaux, Plan C was created to inform women about where and how they could obtain at-home abortion pills online. Yet the overturning of Roe v. Wade increased restrictions on medication providers, and ever-changing state laws surrounding abortion presented a myriad of new obstacles for the organization to continue its work legally. PLAN C explores the covert efforts of this vast underground network of women—many of whom are fearful to share their identities for the sake of their own safety—who are pushing the boundaries of the law to continue providing abortion resources all across the country. —A.B.
