Openly scorned even by the deskbound execs whose precious cargo they zip from one office skyscraper to another, bike couriers are a massive service industry who count themselves wage-slaves to no one, more athlete than employee-drone. In a high-speed verite portrait you meet Amy, Yac, Squid, Mike, Carlos and Tone, on the job and off. And off the clock they ride even harder – against each other in “alley cat races,” coordinated by “Evil E,” a shadowy alpha-messenger who tries not to let the inconvenience of being locked up in prison stop him from overseeing the annual Halloween race.
