About This Film
Film Overview
In the soft light of early morning, five-year-old Ken wakes up to discover that his beloved dog has quietly passed away during the night. Still half-asleep and confused, he stands in front of his friend, unable to fully grasp what has happened. The house is silent, and in that stillness, memories begin to rise—running together at the park, being comforted when he was scolded by his mother, and the simple warmth his dog brought to everyday life.
But alongside these tender moments come heavier thoughts. Ken remembers the times he refused to play, the moments he was impatient or unkind, and the words he never had the chance to say: “thank you” and “I love you.” For the first time, he feels the quiet weight of regret.
As the morning slowly unfolds, Ken begins to understand the pain of loss, the meaning of love, and the truth that time can never be turned back. In this brief, fragile moment, he takes his first small step toward growing up.
