If only all couples were as blissfully happy with each other as Jacob and J?rgen appear to be; what matter that they both happen to be men? The contented duo of gay, upwardly mobile professionals are celebrating Jacob's birthday with their Copenhagen friends when Jacob takes his partner into a back room and proposes marriage. Blessed with good looks and talent, Jacob has always gotten what he wants, and this time is no exception; J?rgen happily accepts. Party guest Caroline, girlfriend to J?rgen's straight brother Tom, impulsively plants a congratulatory kiss on the man who's going to be her new brother in-law. That does it; suddenly, inexplicably, Jacob and Caroline fall in love, their folie ? deux enabled by Tom's long absences in his job as an airline pilot. Jacob is an architect by trade, charged with designing Copenhagen's first downtown mosque, but the quadrilateral relationship that takes shape between him, Caroline, Tom and of course J?rgen defies even his talents at building structures that will hold up. The solution for the four of them comes from a quite unexpected corner, in a brightly colored comedy-drama that makes a notable feature directorial debut for versatile Scandinavian media personality Hella Joof.
