She’s Nonbinary

Max, a nonbinary person, and Jake, their cis male partner with a tendency to misgender them, are celebrating their first night living together. Max unveils another cause for celebration – they’re finally off the waitlist for top surgery. Jake, however, isn’t excited by the news – he’s totally freaked out. At first, neither are sure why he’s spiralling, but then Max realizes – it’s not about their tits at all. In the span of 10 minutes, the fabric of their relationship shreds under the weight of labels, leaving both with a choice between their identities, and each other.
