Snowtime!

Is there any greater moment in a child’s life then when school lets out for winter break? SNOWTIME! is every kid’s dream come-to-animated-life when the children of a small village partake in a week-long snowball war. And war is serious business, you guys. Based on the award-winning 1984 live-action film, “The Dog Who Stopped the War,” SNOWTIME! follows the exploits of two 11-year-olds, Luke and Sophie, as they control the two sides battling over the elaborately constructed snow fort to end all snow forts. Secret plans (paint in snowballs!? brilliant!), blowing bugles, and a clever dog named Cleo all come into play when there’s so much to fight for. But like all conflicts, irreparable damage is done. Sure this family film is filled with fun, but there’s also incredibly heart-warming moments and lessons about the oldest truth in any war: neither side ever truly wins. Bundle up and pack extra gloves, because SNOWTIME! is about to warm your heart. –T.W.
