Film Overview

“Fellow earthlings…” The world of 2007 A.D. is a zombie-plagued junkheap, battered by mankind's out-of-control technology and abuse of the magnetosphere. Radio, TV, sonar, X-rays, microwave-cellular emissions, and worse fry citizens' collective brains, and the Big Brother-ish military-industrial transnational known as NEO (New Electromagnetic Order) is charging up to deliver an apocalyptic Monopolar Pulse that will silence the music of the spheres. The only hope for normalcy lies with ultrasonic outlaws Yogi and BooBoo, a father-daughter team of psychics, immune to government mind-melt thanks to their 1950s ancestor working near unshielded ions at a Defense Department radar project. To decrypt a possible solution embedded in a 1957 “Science in Action” broadcast, BooBoo retrofits an Airstream trailer as a time/space machine and zooms off to download the entire 20th Century record of corporate greed and political monopoly over airwaves and cyberspace. Mixing quantum speculation with hysterical, historical truth, Craig Baldwin's sci-fi “media archaeology” sparks with crackpot genius as it modulates the Titanic disaster, Edison, Tesla, Aleister Crowley, RCA, Microsoft, Martin & Lewis, and lots of public-domain clips into the first great cult feature of the new millennium.
