About This Film
Film Overview
Since the Renaissance, the stiletto has been a preferred weapon by assassins for it's capability to be easily concealed. It also helps that its thin blade and triangular cross-section can deliver a quick and lethal wound. The stiletto is Raina's (Stana Katic of “Heroes”) weapon-of-choice. Deep within the crime underworld of an unnamed city, some would think that Raina's seemingly random killings would go unnoticed, but they are not overlooked by her lover, the Greek crime boss Virgil Vadalos (Tom Berenger), and his cohort, Lee (Michael Biehn), who has just returned to “the scene.” Virgil and Lee, though “friendly,” are each vying for Raina's undivided attention and affection. The two mafia men mobilize their networks to try to track down Raina's moves and figure out the reasoning behind her murders, including the gruesome killing of fellow mafioso, Large Bills (Tom Sizemore). Tracing Raina's moves becomes a race against time when a detective and his partner enter the scene and try to stop the body count from rising any further (without any of them included in it.) – W.F.G.
