STILL PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP (w/ guest Michael Monezis)

Michael Monezis is a technical representative for Bell & Howell/Mamiya Company. He was academically trained as a graphic designer and photographer and has been working in these fields for the past eight years.Monezis will present a 60-minute lecture and slide presentation (240 transparencies) introducing the audience to the world of “medium format” still photography. Topics to be discussed include:Advantages of the larger negatives and transparencies, multiple exposure techniques, specialized light metering techniques, basic outdoor portrait techniques, lensmanship, the ins-and-outs of a “System Camera.”While being technically oriented, these two companion programs are accessible to those unfamiliar with filmmaking and still photography. They are as entertaining as they are informative.
