Surveillance

SURVEILLANCE takes place in a small, desert town where two FBI agents, played by Bill Pullman and Julia Ormond, have come to investigate the latest in a series of grotesque murders. They question the only three eyewitnesses–including a police officer, a drug addict, and an eight-year-old girl–who actually saw the masked killers and lived to tell about it. All three simultaneously tell their stories of the day that led up to the unspeakable killings. Through their confessions we learn the innocent are not as blameless as they seem. The police officer and his partner harass cars that drive through town by shooting out their tires and belittling the drivers to no end. The drug addict and her boyfriend end up stealing everything from their dealer who overdoses in front of them. The question on everyone's mind is, “Am I face to face with the real killer?” SURVEILLANCE is an unpredictable thriller that will have you biting your nails until the credits roll. – L.W.
