Blake Edwards, who has chronicled the ongoing battle of the sexes with hit films like “10” and VICTOR/VICTORIA, brings us a new dimension in his exploration of role reversals in SWITCH, a romantic comedy starring Ellen Barkin (THE BIG EASY, SEA OF LOVE) and Jimmy Smits (TV's “LA Law”). The late Steve Brooks, a chauvinistic advertising wunderkind, was a notorious womanizer, despised by the women he'd duped and dumped. When three of his former conquests invited him to a surprise party in a hot tub, they started with foreplay and ended with gunplay. That was the surprise. Now, after a quick trip through Purgatory, Steve has been sent back to Earth in the body of a beautiful woman. His challenge: to find one woman who likes him. If he succeeds, he'll be on his way to Heaven. If not, he can do what so many women in his lifetime have suggested-go to Hell.
