THE 19TH INTERNATIONAL TOURNEE OF ANIMATION

The 19th edition of the International Tournee of Animation's best-ever program presents award-winners from the USA, Israel, Yugoslavia, Hungary, Italy, Canada, Japan, Holland and England. Highlights among the 20 shorts are the innovative TONY DE PELTRIE, marking the first time a 3-D animated character evoking human emotion has been created by a computer; VINCENT, a Disney Tournee-debut, paying homage to horror films; ANIJAM, a “jam session” by 22 world-class artists who each creat a 15 second sequence in which the last drawing of one becomes the first drawing of the next; THE BIG SNIT, a thought-provoking problem-solver; and a smapling of the best films in the Olympiad of Animation, celebrating the 1984 Olympics.
