Film Overview
“The Beast” is the name given by Afghanis to the Soviet tanks that spearheaded the invasion of their country in 1980. This film focuses on the crew of a single Soviet tank lost in a harsh desert and the crew's flight from a band of Afghani rebels seeking revenge for the atrocities incurred on their village.
