Film Overview
Florence, a young girl who lives in the city, goes off to spend her summer vacation in the country with her penpal Melanie. The two have never met before, and Florence is convinced that her summer will be uneventful and boring. Soon after she arrives, though, the two girls befriend a mysterious old lady who is called a witch by all the other kids in the neighborhood. When the old lady's jewels and her beloved pet baby pig are stolen, the girls decide to play detective. Suddenly, their summer is filled “with action and intrigue as they lead a band of kids on a mission to solve the crime and save the old lady from a fate “worse than death ? being shut up in an old people's home.
