About This Film
Film Overview
NORTH AMERICAN PREMIERE Acclaimed author Elena Wdig has fallen from her apartment window to her death, an apparent suicide. But her dying words (“Eben did it”) to her twin daughters Ana and Nan suggest otherwise. With all of her personal papers now archived at the National Library, where her daughters also happen to work, Dr. Eben Prydderch comes to peruse this material to write a biography. Or so he says. Ana and Nan have other ideas. Trapping him in the archives after closing time, their plan is to extract a confession and revenge what they are convinced is their mother’s murder. When their plans go terribly wrong, Eben escapes. Now locked inside the massive library, an intense game of cat and mouse ensues, with the long and bloody night bringing one shocking revelation after another. THE LIBRARY SUICIDES is a clever and riveting thriller that twists and turns like a snake in a rock garden. It will keep you guessing up to its final startling moments.
