THE METROSEXUAL is laugh-out-loud funny; an L.A. romp about looking for love in all the wrong places. Eric is a good-looking architect with a killer apartment and a Mercedes to match. Obviously a man on top of his game – or is he? Saddled with a perfectionist personality and a need to micromanage his life — from cucumber facials to the setting of his dates at just the right wine bar — he's also encumbered by a manic, foul-mouthed dad who scares away all his girlfriends. Eric's love life has dwindled down to nil. His longest relationship is with the sexy voice of the GPS in his Mercedes, who coos to him to keep going straight. Which Eric does, even though his best gay friend, Kurt, has better luck with girls. Convinced he just needs to relax, Eric's best straight friend, Leo, takes him to a strip club, where the gorgeous pole dancers are shocking to him. After a Halloween party and an encounter with beefy prostitutes also prove less than the boys bargain for, Eric's life seems to be finally spiraling out of control — which might be just what he needs. – BB
