The Ones Below

Kate and Justin are expecting their first child. They discover their strange and unseen new downstairs neighbors, Teresa and John, are also expecting a child and invite the couple to dinner. All does not go well. At the evening's end, Teresa falls on the stairs and loses her baby. Dreadful accusations are made. The new couple go away to grieve, and Kate has her child. Upon their return, Teresa and John seem eager to apologize and share in the joys of the new infant. Kate is hesitant but finally warms to the grief-stricken couple and even allows Teresa to begin watching her baby. Slowly she discovers little things that seem odd. Suspicion then turns to terror. Justin hears her fears with growing concern for her sanity, for this downstairs couple seems sincere, don't they? THE ONES BELOW brings the kettle of impending horror to a steady boil.
