THE SILVER STALLION

This superbly crafted family film tells tha story of a legendary wild stallion who quickly learns the ways of survival in the magnificent mountains of Victoria, Australia. The story pits the wild horses against the enroachment of cattleman, who drive their stock up the mountains each summer to graze in the lush pastures. One man in particular has become a problem. He covets the splendid stallion that leads the pack. Repeatedly he tries to capture the stallion, and repeatedly his attempts are foiled. When he pays a large sum of money for a mare which the stallion later rescuses from captivity, the stage is set for a battle of wills pitting man against magnificent beast.
