THE SON OF THE SHARK

This story of two young brothers, wild, disturbed, and uncontrollable, is one of the most powerful and poignant films of its kind. Loosely based on actual events and characters, THE SON OF THE SHARK tells of Martin and Simon, adolescents who live between foster homes and their father's house. Their mother abandoned the family years before and they have little respect for their alcoholic father. Toughened on the streets, they have built up the hardened layer of brutality necessary to survive and outwit the authorities who keep coming after them. As a protective device, Marin considers himself “the shark's son”, an appropiate nom-de-plume for one who has little regard for the feelings of others.
