Film Overview

The brainchild of 17-year-old phenom Nathan Ambrosioni, THERAPY is a murder mystery that centers around found-footage—a stylistic choice made famous by “The Blair Witch Project.” It begins when a night security guard notices splattered blood in an abandoned old mansion. By all appearances it resembles a grizzly murder scene, but there are no victims in sight. Two young detectives arrive at the location, discovering several hidden cameras placed throughout the house. As they comb through the footage, a story starts to emerge. Five people apparently embarked on a weekend getaway for fun but found themselves facing terror instead. The burning question is: where are they now? Diving deeper into the disturbing tapes, investigators realize there may still be hope. What follows is a frantic rush to solve a puzzle as they must quickly assemble a chronological timeline with the videos that will lead them to the missing travelers. This terrifying and bloody horror film is definitely not for kids. As the clever title implies, it will really mess with your mind. (In French with English subtitles) —E.F.
