Three Worlds

THREE WORLDS collide as an accident on a Paris street changes lives forever. Juliette is a medical student, pregnant by a university lecturer to whom she can't commit. Handsome Al is at the top of his game, about to inherit part of a luxury automobile dealership through his marriage to the boss's daughter. Vera is a young undocumented Moldovan worker, madly in love with her husband Adrian. Late one night, following his alcohol-soaked bachelor party, Al and two buddies are cruising around the streets in his high-end Mercedes. Distracted by each other and their portable devices, they hit Adrian as he crosses the street to work. Jolted to reality, Al gets out briefly, but drives off in a panic and leaves the man in the street. But Juliette has seen everything from her balcony. Her attempts to track down the driver, and help his victim, only drag her deeper into an impossible situation. Director Catherine Corsini elicits excellent performances from the cast.
