Film Overview

TO CROSS THE RUBICON is a sympathetic, funny take on the not fine female art of mixing careers and men. Kendall Byrne and Claire Runyan are facing major crossroads in their lives, They are successful but personally unfulfilled career women searching for lasting and meaningful relationships with men who are not afraid of either commitment or the women's career success. Their close friendship becomes a forum in which to assess their choices in men and their careers and in the way they see and conduct themselves as independent yet “feminine” women. The film follows Kendall and Claire, and David, the ex lover of both, as they interact and influence each other through love, hate, jealousy, laughter, tears and, ultimately, the knowledge that sometimes the best way to face life is to simply live it and allow it to unfold. It's a film for those who don't have all the answers or expect to have them anytime soon.
