Train to Hollywood

American cinema receives a tragicomic tribute in TRAIN TO HOLLYWOOD. Merlin, a small-town Polish girl, has dreamed of becoming a star in a Billy Wilder film ever since she saw Marilyn Monroe in SOME LIKE IT HOT. When Merlin is refused admission to acting school becuase of her buck teeth, she finds work as a bar maid on a train and continues to dream of Hollywood. One day Merlin finds a goldfish in an empty beer bottle. She sets the fish free in the sea and makes three wishes that change her life and the lives of those she loves. Dreams do come true in her fairytale world, as they do in Hollywood.
