Paul and Christine know their separation has devastated their 14-year-old daughter, Sarah. But enough to drive her to murder? Sarah and her girlfriend, Charlie, run into the woods after a fight. Chasing them, Paul finds Sarah alone at the edge of a huge dam. She confesses she has just pushed her friend to her death. Torn between the horrors of the confession and the crime's discovery, her parents opt to conceal the killing and maintain an appearance of normalcy. To what lengths will they go, however, as things slowly fall apart? Charlie's father is frantic at her disappearance, and the police are circling.
