When Jon, a 19-year-old art photographer, opens his apartment to Flora, a 13-year-old runaway, she is taken by his generosity and thoughtfulness. She quickly feels bound to him and decides to stay. But Jon is concerned about Flora's family and school, and he refuses to give her a key to his apartment. Flora is thus back on the street.
