CLEVELAND INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL (CIFF)
ANNOUNCES THREE NEW BOARD MEMBERS

CLEVELAND (Tuesday, January 31, 2023) – The Cleveland International Film Festival announces the addition of three new members to its Board of Directors.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS ADDITIONS

Lisa Durst, Dion Hudnall, and Nadine Nana were unanimously elected to three-year terms on the CIFF Board of Directors in December 2022. Organization leaders are eager to see the impact on the Festival as the new board members lend their unique sets of expertise and passions to CIFF.

“We are excited to add Lisa, Dione, and Nadine to the CIFF board,” said Chris Blake, CIFF’s board president. “Each of them has fantastic skill sets and backgrounds that CIFF will draw upon as it works to present the newest and best films from around the world – and educate our community along the way. In fact, each of them already made an immediate impact during our recent board retreat! I look forward to working with them as we ramp up for the 47th edition of CIFF and for the next three years.”

Lisa Durst is an accomplished global corporate philanthropy leader who focuses on mission-oriented projects and local impact. In 2011 Lisa joined the team at Eaton, where – in her current position as Manager of Global Community Affairs – she leads their philanthropy strategy, company giving, and employee engagement. Lisa is a graduate of John Carroll University with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She has received numerous awards and accolades as part of her work in both the corporate and community arenas.

Dion Hudnall is a licensed school counselor committed to student growth and development. For nearly a decade, Dion has spent his career in the nonprofit sector, working on youth advocacy, mentorship, and education. In his current role at Say Yes Cleveland, Dion serves as a Family Support Specialist, collaborating with families and professionals to oversee student progress indicators and outcomes. In addition to his professional capacities, Dion is the founder of Mad Black Dad, a social enterprise that promotes healthy parenting and emotional wellness for fathers, while providing free clothing for men and boys in need.Dion is a graduate of Cleveland State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, as well as a Master of Education in Counseling.

Nadine Nana is a Venture Partner and Chief Marketing Officer-In-Residence at JumpStart, where she provides sales and marketing domain leadership – as well as direct advisory assistance – to early-stage companies seeking to realize growth. Nadine, who has more than 17 years of experience in developing and directing strategic marketing initiatives, is a graduate of the University of Yaoundé Cameroon with a Bachelor’s in Mass Communication. In addition, she earned a Master of Science in applied economics from the University of Tuskegee Alabama.

The newly appointed trustees bring the CIFF Board to 33 directors.

CIFF47 will take place March 22 – April 1, 2023 at Playhouse Square, followed by CIFF47 Streams, which will take place April 2 – 9, 2023 online. The Festival lineup will be announced in late February 2023, with tickets going on sale in March 2023.
